| Abstract: | Single Photor Emission Computed Tomography(SPECT)myocardial imaging results were compared with those of coronary angiography and ECG examination in 25 patients with coronary heart disease and 8 without it. The results showed that the sensitivity and accuracy of SPECT myocardial imaging were 92% and 87.9% which were significantly higher than those (72% and 78.8 % )of ECG. The segaments of myocardial ischemia or infsrction on SPECT imaging corresponded well with the location of coronary artery stenoses on coronary angiography,the corresponding rate of location was 89.2% (58/65).It is concluded that SPECT myocardial imaging is a non-invasive and more sensitive and accurate procedure for detecting coronary heart disease. |
