摘    要:高职英语教学的最终目的是培养学生的英语实际综合应用能力。文中通过一项基于能力培养的高职英语课程教学改革实证研究,证明了高职英语教学的课程体系、教学模式和教学方法的改革都必须围绕这一最终目的来进行,从而全面提高和培养学生英语综合应用能力,更好地为学生就业服务。

Abstract:The ultimate goal of college English teaching is to train students in practical proficiency in English. This article, through an empirical study on the vocational English teaching reform based on the training of ability, proves that reform of the teaching curriculum, teaching modes and teaching methods of vocational English teaching must fo- cus on this ultimate goal, thereby improving the overall integrated application abilities of students, providing better employment services for students.
