科学筑天路 创新铸辉煌——访全国政协常委、经济委员会副主任，中国工程院院士，铁道部原副部长孙永福

在2009年1月9日召开的国家科学技术奖励大会上，“青藏铁路工程”荣获国家科学技术进步奖特等奖。作为青藏铁路建设的总指挥，年近古稀的全国政协常委、经济委员会副主任，中国工程院院士，铁道部原副部长孙永福应邀出席大会并上台领奖。当他近日接受本刊记者专访时，回忆起从胡锦涛总书记手中接过获奖证书的那一刻，心情依然十分激动。“感谢你们为国家建成了世界一流高原铁路!”总书记的一句话，让他深感荣幸，更感到责任重大。他向总书记汇报，铁路职工绝不辜负党和人民的期望，一定要继续努力创新，管好用好青藏铁路，作出更大的贡献!

Building the Qinghai-Tibet Railway with Science and Innovation --An interview with Mr. Sun Yongfu,the Vice Director of Standing committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC and Economic Committee,Academician of China Academy of Engineering,and the former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Railways

At January 9, 2009, at the National Science and Technology Awards meeting, the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Project won the Grand Prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award. As the commander-inchief of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, Mr. Sun Yongfu, the Vice Director of Standing committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC and Economic Committee, Academician of China Academy of Engineering, and the former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Railways was invited to attend the meeting and accepted the award. When he recently accepted the exclusive interview with our reporter, he recalled the moment that took over the award certification from the state General Secretary Hu Jintao, he was very excited. Hu Jintao said that thank you for you building the world-class plateau railway. After this words, Mr. Sun felt deep pleasure and a heavy responsibility. He said to Mr. Hu Jintao that all railway workers will live up to the expectations of Chinese people, they must continue to innovate and make a greater contribution!
