Research on Properties of Waste Plastic-Crumb Rubber Composite Modified Asphalt and Its Mixture

In order to further improve waste crumb rubber asphalt pavement performance,this paper made waste plastics(PP,PVC) into particles or powder,then added to the asphalt together with the crumb rubber,made into the waste plasyic-crumb rubber composite modified asphalt through physical and chemical processing.After testing the two compound modified asphalt and their mixture performance indicators,it came to the conclusion that PP-crumb rubber composite modified asphalt not only significantly reduces the high temperature viscosity of asphalt binder,but also improves the mixture pavement performance to some extent,that is,to bring the convenience of construction without affecting road performance.In contrast,the road performance of PP-crumb rubber composite modified asphalt mixture is superior to the traditional rubber asphalt;the PVC-crumb rubber composite modified asphalt mixture is relatively weaker.
