| Abstract: | This paper investigates the characteristic of MapX,and applies it to realize the function of GIS in the electronic chart.Many functions have been implemented by MapX for the analysis part of GIS in marine monitor system for instance,such as chart-layer operation,pickoff and append of chart element,marine monitoring,locus playback and so on. |
