| Abstract: | The ultimate strength check is an important content in the ship classification rules.Nowadays,there are some controversies to this question in the ship structure design.Therefore,some questions concerning the ultimate strength check,such as ultimate bending moment definition,ultimate strength requirement and slamming bending moment calculation,are discussed in this paper. |
