By analyzing supplement text -bid evaluation methods and demonstration text -bid evaluation methods in railway engineering, this paper explores rationality and feasibility of bid evaluation methods in railway projects, pointing out that current evaluation method has not completely adhered to the principles of openness, fairness, justice, equity, unconstraint as well as honesty and credibility. Besides, this paper calls on improving and perfecting current bid evaluation process and methods as soon as possible, and leading railway construction industry into a healthy and canonical way.
