Environmental conditions of the bay to some extent restrict the construction option of a submerged tunnel and the latter will also cause some negative influences on the environment,so it is necessary to consider how to deminish the destruction to the environment due to the construction and to utilize the available conditions at the same time.The paper analyses the construction conditions and environment influence of the undersea tunnel according to the specialties of the bay region,puts forword comments on the project and discusses the reasonableness of the option and measures for environmental protection.
