| 摘 要： | 隐喻是一种修辞方式，是人类最基本的认知方式和思维方式，是人们谈论和思维抽象概念的认知工具。人类通过隐喻来认识和了解世界。基于隐喻的英汉对比研究有助于揭示中西文化的差异。从隐喻角度对中西文化进行了对比，以便使我们对中西文化差异有更全面的认识。

| Abstract: | Metaphor is not only a kind of common rhetoric device,but also a basic way of recognizing the world. Comparison between Chinese and English metaphor contributes to revealing the difference of Chinese and western culture. To grasp the essence of Chinese-westem culture, this article compares it from the viewpoint of metaphor. |
