Necessity of establishing railway information security protection evaluation agency

China's information security management work was followed the principle of level protection, in accordance with the level of protection requirements. Since the railway industry information systems was with the industry characteristics, the information system was also a matter of safety of railway transportation, specialized agencies were required to estimate the quality of information system security. In this paper, the advantages, the role and necessity of industry evaluation agency were analyzed.
