Strategic Consideration of Development of Modern Logistics for the Chinese Shipping Enterprises

With the speeding up of the integration of the world economy, some international shipping enterprises are implementing the globalcarrier strategy and trying to enter the world logistical market including China. Then how should those Chinese shipping companies in difficulties meet the severe challenges both at home and abroad, and adjust their strategy so as to develop their logistics services, open up market and develop the national economy? It is the main target discussed in this paper. This paper tries to make a systematic analysis on the following three topics: * The necessity to develop the logistics services for the Chinese shipping enterprises; * The opportunities and challenges for the Chinese shipping enterprises to develop their logistics services; * The countermeasures.
