| Abstract: | Under the framework of ideational grammatical metaphor theory of Systemic Functional Grammar,this article offers a comparative analysis of performances of ideational grammatical metaphor in two English versions of Dr.Zhu Ziqing's prose Moonlight over the Lotus Pond.We try to prove that ideational grammatical metaphor theory can provide a new angle of view for the appreciation and assessment of different translations of a same text,as well as the original works. |
