Application of Automatic Weld Technology in Sheet Forming

Combining with the steel structures’ construction of some high speed vessel, the detailed welding construction scheme in the quality control process of sheet weld forming is set down, aiming at hull’s building procedure and structure features. The sheet welding distortion is controlled effectively by adopting multiple automatic welding methods and combination of different welding methods, which make the sheet structures’ overall forming effect achieve the leading domestic level. The automatic weld technology applied to sheet forming in this paper can be used as a reference in this industry.
