Measures to deal with exchange rate risk in shipbuilding industry

With the increasingly intensive competition in worldwide shipbuilding market and the reformation of forming system of RMB exchange rate, the fluctuation of foreign exchange rate makes a more profound effect on the domestic shipbuilding industry. The issue of preventing exchange rate exposure now becomes a critical problem which China shipbuilding enterprises eager to solve. This paper analyzes the major forms of exchange rate risk related to shipbuilding enterprises and gives the corresponding measures to deal with the exchange rate exposure.
