For the greatly increasing demands for energy and raw materials, and constantly expanding of trade capacity, demands for the infrastructure of shipping channels, ports and docks are greater continuously. So dredging equipment manufacturing in our country must be developed rapidly. At this viewpoint, the strategic deliberation for expediting the development of dredging equipment is put forward.
