广州市快速公交发展实践

合理分配日趋有限的道路资源、有效改善道路交通秩序、提升常规公交服务水平、促进构建公交分级服务体系是广州市发展快速公交的主要目的。通过深入分析广州市常规公交的发展现状，辨明了制约提高常规公交服务水平的3个主要原因。在广泛研究国内外快速公交实践经验的基础上，总结出快速公交系统的3种模式。结合广州市的实际情况，提出快速公交的发展定位与具体策略，建议在中心城区发展＂高标准灵活式＂的快速公交模式，并据此拟订了快速公交整体网络方案设想。以中山大道快速公交试验线为例，探讨了广州市发展快速公交的实践经验。最后总结了发展快速公交需要重视的几个问题。

Development and Operation of BRT Systems in Guangzhou
