| 摘 要： | 不同的民族由于在文化方面的差异,对动物的认识和情感不尽相同。熟悉不同文化背景下动物的文化内涵是准确把握翻译的关键。文章在对照比较了我国与英语国家一些动物的不同的文化内涵的基础上,简要介绍了四种动物词语的翻译方法:直译法、意译法、解释法、替换法。

| Abstract: | People have different ideas towards animals because of cultural difference. Knowing the culture connotations of animals under different cultural background is the key to good translation. The paper compares the different culture connotations of animals in Chinese and English and introduces four methods of translation: literal translation, free translation, explanation and substitution. |
