| Abstract: | This paper analyses the problems and requirements of the air brake in the heavy haul combined freight train, introduces the ECP system and LOCOTROL system in the heavy haul combined trains in other countries or districts. The paper mainly illustrates the features of the open and closed-loop control mode about the Equalizing Reservoir （ER） of the locomotive brake system using LOCOTROL system and the heavy haul test of Da-Qin Railway. |
