| 摘 要： | 英汉两种语言中都存在着大量的形象语言,而形象语言是语言修辞手段的重要组成部分。本文从英汉成语中形象语言的来源,形象语言在翻译中的处理着手,探讨其内在的文化内涵及如何结合语境、语篇灵活地进行形象语言的翻译。

| Abstract: | As an important rhetorical device,image language always finds its existence in different cultures.This article starts from the origin of idioms in both Chinese culture and English culture,taking into consideration of some influential factors including cultural differences,context and discourse,hence to find the best way to deal with idioms during translation. |
