Abstract:Based on the knowledge engineering theory and the expert system,the research and development system is established for the digital design of quayside container crane by combining with the multi-domain simulation technique,interactive user interface technique,virtual reality technology and database technology.The system mainly involves the parametric driving 3D design model,finite element analyzing model,dynamic analyzing model and hoisting analyzing model etc.By applying the structure analyzing and optimizing module,dynamic analyzing module,site-installation simulating module,the parametric driving design of virtual prototype may be realized,which reduces the workload of rebuilding models greatly.Besides,the system is used in the innovative design,test and evaluation of quayside container cranes.
