| Abstract: | This paper makes a comparative study on the standards of China and UIC concerning accessible design of passenger railway stations. The study is conducted from various aspects such as scope,structure and contents of the standards concerned,focusing on the similarities and differences between Chinese and UIC standards in terms of design philosophy and specific parameters. This paper can serve as a reference for both the standardization work in China and the participation of China in preparing international standards in the domain of accessible design of passenger railway stations. |
