| Abstract: | Google Inc. revealed Android Auto, an in-car control system for smartphones that will compete with Apple Inc.＇s new CarPlay interface. The technology giant begins a new phase of connected-car with its advanced product. The in-car control system On June 25th, Google revealed completely voice- enabled Android Auto, which is the first product of the Open Automotive Alliance. Android Auto is not an embedded operating system. Smartphones using Google＇s Android operating system can be plugged into the car and operated using the car＇s controls and display screen. |
