The article analyzes the function orientation of Quanzhou City Xiutu South-North Trunk Road in the urban road network,puts forward the cross-section schemes of the main road and auxiliary road.Under the instruction of traffic optimized design idea,the comprehensive application in the channelization of intersection,the passage design of the main lane and auxiliary lane,the setup of bus lane,the design of median U-turn and the design of the local green wave traffic in the pedestrian crosswalk and the main line can perfect the traffic functions of road and greatly improve the traffic capacity and service level of Quanzhou City Xiutu South-North Trunk Road.
