| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the current and future traffic demand,reviews the international research findings and recommends the criteria and the types of bus lanes that should be implemented in Shanghai.Furthermore,the levels of services for bus lanes are defined.The strategies and methods of bus lanes implementation are presented in the study to address road feature constrains,urban road network expansion and traffic demand. |
