| Abstract: | Reading English newspaper and magazines is one of the ways to obtain knowledge for college students, for not only can it broaden our vision, but also improve our reading skills. Mastering the method of reading English newspapers can help students to read effi- ciently. The essay points out the importance of reading English newspapers and magazines and sums up the ways to improve it from three aspects： understanding the cultural back- ground, mastering news language and making use of reference books. |
