| Abstract: | The article takes the start-stop failure of the electric backup oil pump of a ship’s main reduction gear device as the research object.Through analyzing the working performance of the overflow valve,it is concluded that the damage of the pilot spring inside the overflow valve is the main cause of the failure.According to the cause of the failure,a maintenance plan for replacing high-quality imported pilot spring materials was developed and the failure was eliminated. |
