| Abstract: | This paper introduces the DC box-type traction power substations employed for new rail transit projects in TEDA, By analyzing the reasons of their adoption, the scheme of localization, as well as the technology and economy of the substations, the paper further points out that the DC box-type traction power substations possess the advantages of less land occupation, less integrate investment, less time for installation, and good-looking etc, The system will become the trend of development in China, and the localization and popularization of this system is of practical significance. |
