| Abstract: | By way of example of Guanshan Road No.2 Interchange Project on the Third Ring Road,Wuhan City,the construction process of geogrid reinforced soil retaining wall used for the project is presented in considerable details,the control of construction quality of the retaining wall is illustrated,and the economy of the wall is analyzed and compared to that of the gravity retaining wall made up of stone blocks and cement mortar.The presentations in the paper are of practical significance to popularize application of the geogrid reinforced soil retaining walls. |
