摘    要:基于车-车通信的铁路避撞系统RCAS(Railway Collision Avoidance System)使列车能周期地获取邻近区域的运行状况信息,若有潜在的碰撞危险则向司机发出警告并给出建议,从而避免碰撞事故的发生。此系统独立于传统运营机制下的安全设备,可提高列车运行的安全性,且具有提高效率的潜能,可缩短相邻列车的追踪间隔。本文详细论述RCAS的体系结构、定位算法、通信机制及碰撞检测机制,并根据目前研究现状展望将来的研究方向,以期对我国铁路发展提供参考。

Abstract:The railway collision avoidance system(RCAS) based on direct train-to-train communication allows train autonomous detection of imminent collisions.RCAS designed as a safety overlay system shall warn and advise train drivers in dangerous situations.Additional safety is provided by RCAS which is independent of the regular traffic control mechanisms.RCAS has the potential to increase efficiency in the future,such as shorten the distance between sequencing trains.The RCAS architecture,positioning algorithms,communication link design and collision detection mechanism are discussed in this paper.The research status and future research directions of RCAS are also introduced.
