An Approach to Virtual Enterprise Establishment for Container Multimodal Transports

As an advanced mode of transport, container multimodal transport has played an important role in international trade. In order to solve some problems in the multimodal transport, this paper brings forward a measure to establish container multimodal virtual enterprise, aiming at organizing dynamically the advantages of those enterprises of carriers business and transport ones together and finishing the transport task efficiently according to a determined transport task. In this way, the whole strength of the virtual enterprise is larger than the simple sum of every single transport enterprise.
