Abstract:At present, each converter of a traction substation in a metro line operates independently, which cannot achieve real-time information interaction, precise adjustment, and coordinated control, thus increasing the loss of the system network and reducing system security performance. To address this problem, an intelligent optimal control method for metro multiconverters based on GOOSE communications is proposed in this study. A hierarchical control strategy for a multiconverter is built based on goose communication network. Setting the minimum network loss and minimum rail potential amplitude as the goals, a dual-objective optimization control algorithm for multiconverters based on NSGA-II algorithm is proposed. A dynamic power flow simulation platform of the traction power supply system in a metro line was built for simulation verification. The results show that the intelligent optimal control method of a multiconverter based on the GOOSE communication can realize the dynamic management and coordinated control of multiconverters, reducing network loss and rail potential. Compared with the traditional optimization control without communication, the intelligent optimal control method of a multiconverter can optimize the output characteristics of converters in real time, and realize the goal of energy saving and safe operation.
