A New method to Calculate the power rating of Narrow V-Belt drives |

| Abstract: | A new method to calculate the power rating of Narrow V -Belt drives according to the expected service life is introduced. This method can completely consider effects of speed ratios and belt length on the drive capacity and be easy to design computer pro-gramm.The equation and design constants are introduced and calculating tables and examples are also provided in this paper. |
