Design and Implementation Scheme of Passage Foundation Pit Supporting in Zone III of Shanghai Bund Transport Hub

The Bund Transport Hub Zone III Underground Passage Project is located between the Bund Transport Hub and Gucheng Park.The construction of the underground passage has solved the interrelation of the Bund Transport Hub and Gucheng Park.The location of this project is near the Bund Transport Hub,the working shaft of the ground drainage trunk pipe,People Road Tunnel Project crossing the river.Its construction is more difficult.The article summarizes some design characteristics and difficulties of the foundation pit supporting in Zone III of the Bund Transport Hub,and introduces in detail the supporting structural design scheme of the project,and in addition,discusses the measures taken for the pit excavation and the protective measures for the surrounding pipelines in the complex environment.Some conclusions and measures in the article can be referred for the similar projects.
