| Abstract: | Lin Ze-xu is a progressive thinker and great patriot in the history of modern China, and is a devout theist at the same time. He led the splendid action of destroying opium stocks in Humen Beach, which is a glorious page in Chinese history, moreover, he left us a famous immortal literary piece, a Funeral Oration to the God of Sea, declaring to the world our Chinese people＇s decision to ban opium and refuse drugs. |
