Abstract:To increase loading & unloading operation efficiency, design is conducted for a special ultra wide type of truck with side loader, which can be used for loading, unloading and carrying the special shelter, realizing operation of truck to truck, or truck to ground. The proper carrier chassis is selected based on the technical characteristics and working conditions, as well as the function, technical data and operation requirements. Furthermore, the subframe, sideloader,hydraulic system, electric control system and auxiliary facilities are redesigned, and Abaqus software is utilized to perform FEA stress analysis and strength verification for the sideloader, stability verification for the truck is carried out. Through commissioning and testing, all the systems, such as sideloader, hydraulic system, electric control system, are running securely, stably and reliably, and the normal handling task can be done under various of working conditions and even extreme conditions, furthermore all the performances meet the desired requirements. The development of the truck with side loader makes the side loading technology innovated and improved, and provides some new design thoughts for references, as well as expands the application range of the side self-loading technology.
