| Abstract: | The sustitution of rare element for Boron elements will be beneficial in manufacturing fasteners for motorcycles. As far as cold upset carbon boron steel is concemed, there are no marked affects upon the cold upset formation, but the affect is great when heat-treating. Boron has special pattems for hardenability, so attention should be paid to its characteristics when the cold upset boron steel heat-treated. |
