摘    要:当前的代理移动IPv6 (PMIPv6,Proxy Mobile IPv6)仅考虑了基本的注册、解注册和切换管理,并不能很好地支持具有多个异构网络接口的移动节点(MN,Mobile Node)的垂直切换.由于在基本PMIPv6的垂直切换过程中,本地移动锚点(LMA,Local Mobility Anchor)和移动接入网关(MAG,Mobile Access Gateway)在绑定更新完成时,移动节点可能并未配置好有效的地址,从而会引起严重的切换时延和数据包丢失.通过扩展介质独立切换(MIH,Media Independent Handover)原语和参数,可以支持高效的PMIPv6垂直切换.理论分析结果表明,所提机制能够有效减小垂直切换时延.

Abstract:The current PMIPv6 (Proxy Mobile IPv6) protocol only takes basic support for registration, de- registration and handover management into account, and cannot give better support to vertical handover of mobie nodes (MN) with multiple heterogeneous network interfaces. The vertical handover could result in tremendous packet loss and serious handover delay because MN may not finish the valid configurations before LMA (Local Mobility Anchor) and MAG (Mobile Access Gateway) has been established. The paper proposes an enhanced vertical handover scheme for PMIPv6 with new additional primitives and parameters added to the MIH (Media Independent Handover) services. The analyzing results show that the scheme can reduce the handover latency remarkably.
