The inflammation test

Herbs have been used for medicinal purposes throughout the ages. When modern chemotherapeutics became available, the use of the remedies declined, but their popularity increased again recently. They are used for health maintenance and for the treatment or prevention of minor ailments like the common cold or mood disturbances, but sometimes also for treatment of more serious, particularly chronic diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, chronic neurological disorders or depression. There is indication that part of the functional activity of herbal medicine is related to their activity to improve or normalise immune cell functioning.
