The Application of Artificial Neural Network to the Gears Fault Diagnosis of Automotive Transmission

In this paper, neural network is studied and a fault diagnosis method based on neural network is presented. With the example of transmission gear fault diagnosis, the classified network is built and the gear state is recognized. This method is proved to be effective in practice.
