Soft Ground Treatment for Baishi Bridge on Junda Highway

Pile net composite foundation treatment method is adopted for the soft ground of Baishi bridge on Junda highway on basis of the actual conditions of the works. The consolidation mechanisms of pile net composite foundations are discussed. The layout of the piles is executed on basis of the single pile bearing capacity calculation results. Items to which attention should be paid during piling are expatiated. Countermeasures are provided for the piping occurring during construction.
