摘    要:从实时视频数据流中检测出运动车辆并对其进行车辆类型识别是智能交通系统的重要组成部分。本文提出一种从AVI视频文件中检测出运动车辆并识别其车辆类型的方案,其系统处理过程分为车辆图像获取、图像处理和车辆外观特征数据提取三个主要部分。经实验验证,该设计简单可行。

Abstract:Detecting moving vehicles and recognizing vehicles' type is an important part of In- telligence Transport System (ITS) from the real-time video data stream. In this paper, a kind of feasible system design is proposed for moving vehicles detection and their type recog nition from an Audio Video Interleaved (AVI) files. The processing flow of system includes three steps: the image of vehicle acquisition, image processing and vehicle appearance feature data extraction. The experiments prove that the design is simple and feasible.
