Common Diseases and Reinforcement Technology of Highway Arch Bridge

In recent years the number of dangerous and old arch bridge is growing rapidly, and the highway arch bridge is one of the difficult points in bridge reinforcement field. This paper summarized common diseases of several arch bridges including masonry arch bridge, double arch bridge, rigid-framed arch bridge and the tied arch bridge, reviewed the commonly used reinforcement methods, which can provide a certain reference for reinforcement renovation design of superstructure of arch bridge.
