| Abstract: | This paper summarizes the ＂top-down＂ crack in terms of appearance, characteristics and classification in the asphalt pavement. The causes of temperature shrinkage（horizontal）and surface（vertical） cracks are detailedly expounded from the point of view of the pavement-mechanics in this paper, which can provide some reference for similar project. |
