| Abstract: | Replacement method is a commonly used shallow subgrade disposal one in highway engineering. The aspects like action principle, scope of application, design and calculation, construction technique as well as quality inspection are summarized. At the same time the compaction characteristics of replacement materials are conducted an in-depth research combining an engineering instance. It plays a key role in popularizing this method. |
