Study on the Distribution of Scattered Objects from Traffic Collision

The scattered objects and their distributions on the scene imply some important informationconcerning the traffic accidents. The common scattered objects in traffic accidents are selected as the tar-gets of experiment. Discussions on the distribution form of those seatterings, the relationship between the throwing distance, the theoretical throwing distance, and the vehicle speed, and provides further expres-sions in quantification accordingly, can be used to calculate vehicle speed and provide the evidence of ac-cident.
