| Abstract: | Bridge engineers should pay high degree of attention during the design and construction of pile foundations in karst area as it does great harm to bridges. The paper summarizes several essential points that should be carefully considered to ensure bridge safety by the design and construction of the pile foundation of long-span bridge in karst area. |
