Application of Earned Value Method in Highway Construction Cost Control

With the development of economy and economic adjustment of industrial structure in China, the construction of an efficient cost control decision-making system is the inevitable choice. The cost control of highway engineering construction is an important link to enhance the core competitiveness of highway construction enterprises. Combining with the characteristics of the highway construction, it is proposed that the earned value method can be applied to the cost control of highway construction, which can improve the efficiency of cost control of highway construction, and promote the development of the research and beneficial attempt on highway construction cost control theory and practice in future.
