Abstract:The structure and working principles of the active-hinged system of Type-EPB6260 shield made by the ROBBINS Company,the section-selecting principles in the shield construction process and methods are dealt with in detail in the paper,with emphasis placed on the specific methods,scientific grounds,and the importance of the position adjustment to the quality of the project.Through the position adjustment,the shield construction is performed safely and smoothly and the shield posture is found good.And through predicting the number of the following segments,the efficiency of the shield construction is obviously improved.The use of this method for tunnel construction and equipment manufacture is of some referential value.
