| Abstract: | With the transformation of the old bridge at the crossroads of the Yingbinnan Road and the Beijing-Chengde Railway in Huairou District as a practical example, the cutting method adopted for cutting the existing U-type railway concrete bridge, the method of strengthening the existing railway with D-24 military convenient girders, and the construction process for jacking in the new bridge body are presented in the paper. This construction process may serve as a reference for similar projects in future. |
