| Abstract: | Large oil tanker lightering while underway is a special mode of ship-to-ship alongside maneuvering.This paper introduces the requirements of the water,the sea conditions and ship equipment when using this special mode,and the way to carry out the maneuvering,as well as the control points at each phase of operation. |
